Brief view of London

Hello again here,

It will soon be one month since I started working with Adobe. Don't ask me how it is or how it had been until now. I just can say that I like it. Last week I've been in London, and although I did not have too much time to actually visit London, here are some pictures

~ Piccadilly Circus ~

~ Tower Bridge ~

~ Walking on the Tower Bridge ~

~ View of the Tower of London ~

~ An idyllic home ~

How was London? rainy :) but I loved it, I really did. I liked the people, I liked the city and the surroundings, I liked the atmosphere, the air, you know that even rain smells different there than here at home? :):):):) I know, must be insane, but I really felt it like this. When will I go again? do not know, but fr that moment I will try to plan at least one day for just browsing around, so, more to come ...

The way life turns you around

As I read last night on some one's blog, blogging is something that you do like any other thing in your life, and so, now I'm posting on my blog after a pause of almost 4 months. Is not like I did not post this period, it was just posting on another blog, about a dream that unfortunately can not become reality. It was about a traineeship in Pakistan, about spending in Lahore six months with Greenstar, an organization acting in the health services. The visa procedure took too long, and in this time too many changes happen into my life, from changing my job and taking a new way to my little nephew birth, Danutz, for whom I will also be a godmother :)
So this is in short what happen in m life in the past months. I still have some things to clear regarding my former job and about my traineeship, but this is all behind, from these, the only things that still matter are the people, beside that, my life is ahead.
About my new job, I can say that everything is too new to have a opinion to share.
more to come, so stay close

Vienna & Bratislava

one more country to MY world map

Unplanned, out of the blue, I am leaving Monday to Bratislava. My first trip abroad, just going to explore new sights, simply, as a tourist. Well, Bratislava, I saw some of it once, but now, I'm trying something new to my recipe, I'm going to VIENNA :) So, no luggage, no worries, no cell phone -- actually it will be available, but only for some special friends from Lahore, Pakistan :) -- only a good book, a collection of maps, my special buddy - the credit card :) - and my best companion, my friend Cristina. What to expect ... hm, lots of challenges, lots of laugh, being tired but happy, getting richer and richer hour by hour, isn't it great?

Preparing for new challenges

Yes, I finally woke up this Monday morning and went to work with some "chef de munca" :) and I am very proud of it. Beside this, I am closer and closer in making a decision regarding what in God's name i want from my life. I started asking myself questions like: why do I go to work? why HR? why Bucharest? lot's of why-s. You know what's the most interesting thing? the fact that for the first time I finally got some answers from myself. When I dod not know shat to do with my life, what will I do in my life, I always come back to that quote that says that the greatest people of this world never knew what they wanted from life and still accomplished so many great things. Now, as I'm getting closer to finding out what I want from my life, I only can be happies and greatful because I can accomplish so much more.
I was talking in the beginning about challenges. Well, I want to work for people, I want to work for that feeling of happyness and contempt that what you did is not for the money, not for another step in your career, it's for people, for your community, for your soul. Bringing things more close to reality, I want to work in the NGO sector or in the corporate are but in the CSR field. In concrete terms, I finally decided to apply for a traineeship with AIESEC, and afterwards, I will came back to my home town and invest all my knowledge, time, efforts, to make it a better place, a cool place to live in, a great place to visit. So, God help me :) and until then ... make a nice day of today!!!

Smells like Christmas

I know it's long time until Christmas, I just can not help myself anticipating. I like the carols, the atmosphere, people in a hurry to get the right presents, everybody seems to be more nice, more attentive, more carrying about the others. I am in a doubt. I want to enjoy this Christmas as much as possible, I do not want to go home this Christmas, I wanted to go to my relatives in Hunedoara, to play in the snow, to play with my little nephews, to go out with my cousins, but it seems that everybody waits this period of time to just sit at home and enjoy some spare time in front of the TV or everybody with their own families; so, why disturbing this? The other alternative is the usual one, going home, seeing my sister and my father, spending some time with mom, cooking, maybe a dinner on Christmas with my aunt and ... that's about it. Hmmmm, hard choice. if I would stay in Bucharest, at least I could go to the gym daily, spend some evenings on Bucharest's boulevards and parks, which are great this time of year, and, in the end, is just some other days. It's fine like this, I still have to check and see how should I send the gifts I have for everybody :)
